Nels' Seafood Bisque

 

1 Lb. Claw, crab meat

1 Lb. Medium shrimp

1 Lb. Sea scallops cut in half

1 stick butter, not margarine

1/2 c. Green onion, chopped

1/2 c. Celery sliced

1/2 c. Flour

2 Bottles clam juice, about 2 cups

3 c. Milk

1 c. Heavy cream

1 c. Half & half

1/4 c. white wine

2 c. Chicken broth

1/8 tsp. Black pepper

1/2 tsp. White pepper

1/2 tsp. Salt

8 Drops Tabasco Sauce

 

Sauté onion & celery in butter. Add raw shrimp & cook. Slowly add flour, stirring to make a paste. Remove from heat, Slowly ad milk while stirring constantly so it doesn't get lumpy. Return to heat, and add the rest of the liquid, and cook until thick. Add crab, scallops, and spices, Cook on medium until scallops are cooked. Invite Barbara & Nels over for dinner. Enjoy!
